An analysis of the eight millenium development goals for 2015 reveals two goals that need extra attention: combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, and ensure environmental sustainability.

ReplyDeleteWith the upcoming end of the allotted time made for the completion of the millennium development goals, both the "Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other diseases" and "Ensure Environmental Stability" goals need to be reviewed to track forwards and backwards progression.

ReplyDeleteThe General Assembly created the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to protect every humans' rights under law, which include freedom and equality and the right to life.
This is a statement of fact rather than an argument. Has the UDHR been evenly applied? Was it successful? What specific articles will you address in your argument?
DeleteThe Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples had varying impacts because there were contrasting results based on the struggles and discrepancies of governments; the significance in this is that major powers and previous colonizers showed that they supported decolonization; finally, it is still relevant because of issues that newer countries still face because of decolonization.

DeleteThe importance of the declaration of decolonization was the signification that international communities were now aware and supportive of colonial states and its people. It relates directly to culture by integration the desire for freedom within people , and establishing basic human rights. It had a profound impact on society as it laid the foundation that all people have the right to pursue their economic , social , and cultural development.

DeleteThe Universal Declaration of Human Rights was both significant and relevant in the time at which it was published, but was not extremely impactful in stopping human rights violations throughout the world.

DeleteThe Universal Declaration of Human Rights was established on December 10, 1948 proclaiming in article four that people have a right to be free, however there is still an endemnic problem amongst the world with slavery, also the declaration proclaimed in article 9 that “no one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention, or exhile” however this is still a world wide problem, concluding that the declaration is inactive.

DeleteThe Declaration of Human Rights written by the United Nations states that every human is equal and that they should not be judged or discriminated based on their race, their religious views, or their gender, however in history there are multiple cases where humans were exploited because of differences in these qualities, which proves that discrimination and judgments only leads to the destruction proven in history.
